"For Sale: Belgium, a kingdom in three parts. Can be bought as a whole (not recommended), can be bought in parts", namely Wallonia, Brussels and Flanders.
The seller, a Belgian former journalist called Gerrit Six, said the idea to put Belgium up for auction "started as a joke" but was meant to convey a serious message: that Belgium is valuable!
